On 25 May, 2018 the EU's new Data Protection Act, the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), came to effect in all EU countries. Norway is not part of EU but is an EFTA (European Free Trade Association) country, so implementation of GDPR has been from 1st of July 2018. If you have registered as customer, we would use this information for communicating you only about products that you have purchased or have requested information about. If you have registered for any of our exciting newsletters, we use the information to send you information that would be of interest to you. If we have stored your personal information then we are responsible for this information. We will process, use and store your information in accordance with applicable guidelines and legal requirements of Norway and GDPR.
Personal information that will be used and stored could be as follows : Name, address (visit and delivery address), name of Organization/Institutes (school, kindergarten or institution), email, phone number, purchase history and customer group or related agreement and will be handled by all relevant departments in our organization.
Where and how are your personal information used
Your personal information might be in our email systems, web traffic and customer database and will thus be processed automatically in our systems. If you have contacted our customer center, either directly or digitally, then we use your contact information for further dialogue and personal follow-up / service. Furthermore, your personal information is recorded and processed when you register and shop in our online store, Mods4Mars.com. You can always unregister from our newsletter at any time by using the unsubscribe field at the bottom of all our newsletters. We will then delete you from the service.
Your personal information is stored with us in principle as long as your relations with us is as a customer. Accounting or other legal requirements may require data to be stored over a longer period of time.
About sharing personal information
We do not share your personal information with other companies, businesses or affiliates unless there is any legal obligation on us. It is you who own your personal information and you can at any time gain access to information we have about you or correct any errors. However, we need your contact data to send you your ordered items for delivery through our distribution company.
You can contact us at any time to request access to information we may have about you. In addition, you may request correction, or restrict information or dialogue / communication with you as a customer, you may further submit your objections and / or request to delete your information. If you experience that we are not processing your personal information correctly or in accordance with the law, contact us or the Data Inspectorate.
